Never Stop Dreaming
Exactly a year ago, most of us had mixed feelings. We did not know what to expect, we did not know what to think. The only thing we knew was that our life was about to change. Most, if not all of us, had come to Hult through a lot of sacrifices... leaving behind our houses, stable jobs, family, friends, even couples and children, all for a dream, a professional and personal goal. No matter how different that goal was, today we can say that it was worth it.
A year that flew by so fast, a year that seems a sigh, that leaves us indelible memories, undefeatable moments, incredible new people, life lessons and more importantly, a GREAT family. Now no matter where we go or where we will be in 5 years, we will have friends, brothers and sisters in practically every country in the world. Our link is unbreakable!
Reflecting on everything lived, I can say that the most important thing I learned, or rather I confirmed this year, is that power is in our minds, and no matter how difficult it may seem a goal, there is absolutely nothing impossible to achieve if it is desired by heart and we work hard for it.
We are really privileged to be able to take a break from our professional lives for a whole year, to grow, to acquire knowledge and to nourish our desire to be the best version of ourselves. Let's not miss this unique opportunity... Life is extremely short, time flies, and tomorrow is uncertain, so we cannot let only sad and bitter moments be those that remember those facts. To give an example, most of us always dreamed of doing an MBA program, and now in the twinkling of an eye it is all done, but now is the time to keep dreaming and decide which is our next step. Let's do what we really want, we must be brave, it's time to live without regrets!
As Arianna Huffington once said, "We have, if we're lucky, about 30,000 days to play the game of life. And trust me, that's not morbid. In fact, it's wisdom that will put all the inevitable failures and rejections and disappointments and heartbreaks into perspective".
Life is not easy or fair, but the secret is to learn to accept it and keep fighting. Today we closed a chapter, but there are many more to be opened. Do not think it over, it's time to go out and eat up the world.
Just smile and enjoy the ride.
